(6-10pm). Come out to the Northern Liberties Community Center on June 12th to support the Park! The Fundraising Committee has been hard at work organizing this event to help raise the additional funds we need to replace the fencing on the Orianna and Poplar Street sides of the Park (you may remember that we recently received a $7000 grant from Penn Treaty Special Services District for the fencing, but we need to raise at least another $6500 to complete the entire project).

2. Workday: Sunday, June 6, 2010. Please join us this Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 10am – 1pm, to help spruce up the Park for the rapidly-approaching summer season. We’ll be spreading woodchips, trimming trees and overgrowth and doing other general clean-up. We’ll provide tools and gloves, but bring extra if you have them.
As a reminder, please leave your canine friends at home – the PARK WILL BE CLOSED during clean-up.
ALL members are invited to join the workday, but if you are on the Landscaping, Workday & Gardens Committee, it is part of your Park commitment to participate in our semi-annual Park clean-up/workdays. Jack Cassidy (cplace49@comcast.net), Chair of the Landscaping Committee, will contact all committee members directly.
