Park Rules

  • YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for the dogs you bring to the park, and everything they do. THE PARK is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any harm to you or your dog and you assume the risk of such harm!
  • PICK UP your dog's POOP. Tie it up in a bag. No loose poop in the cans!
  • Respect our neighbors and CONTROL BARKING at all times.
  • Aggressive dogs NOT ALLOWED!
  • DON'T leave your dogs unattended.
  • All dogs must be REGISTERED MEMBERS. Registration forms are in the black box on the bulletin board. Your tax-deductible Donations allow us to maintain and improve the Park.
  • All dogs should be licensed and vaccinated.
  • Puppies under four months should not be brought to the Park.
  • Spayed or Neutered dogs recommended; dogs in heat should never be brought to the Park.
  • Owners should have a leash for each dog; each dog must wear a collar while in the Park.
  • A limit of three dogs per person per visit is recommended since YOU are responsible for their behavior.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

THIS PARK is totally VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN!

EVERYONE is responsible for keeping it clean and pleasant. If you see DOGS POOPING, give a yell!

If you see TRASH to pick up, pick it up! If you see TRASH CANS to move in or out, move 'em! Trash Day is Friday, so wheel ‘em out on Thursday night and back in after pick-up on Friday.

If you see WOOD CHIPS to spread, spread 'em!

Dog conflicts and incident reporting

A reminder on the Orianna Hill Park policy on dog conflicts:

  • Dog owners should always attempt to resolve disputes among themselves.
  • Dog owners are liable for any injuries caused by their dogs to other dogs or to people.
  • The dog park carries general liability insurance which specifically excludes dog bites.

If you're involved in an incident, please fill out and return an incident form [Microsoft Word document].
