Become a Member

Thanks for your interest in joining Friends of Orianna Hill Dog Park, a wonderful member-led initiative! It's a great place not only to exercise your dog, but to meet neighbors, who as fellow members of the park, are collectively working to improve our neighborhood.

Membership is free, but we sincerely encourage all park users to consider becoming paid, voting members of the park. The annual contribution is tax-deductible, and costs only $30.00 per voting member, per year. It entitles you to vote in board elections and, we hope you agree, is a small price to pay for this precious piece of open space in a quickly changing neighborhood. Additionally, some of our events are voting-members only.

Moreover, Friends of Orianna Hill Park is a nonprofit, member-owned park. We receive no funding from the City and rely on our members to support this great community initiative. In fact, just maintaining required property insurance costs more than a thousand dollars annually. Member donations also go toward maintaining required property insurance, paying our water and electric bills, buying woodchips, and paying for necessary repairs.
