Membership Requirements

The following are requirements of Membership to Orianna Hill Dog Park (Dog Park), located on real property at Orianna and Poplar Streets (Real Property) owned by Friends of Orianna Hill Park (FOOHP).  If you do not agree to these terms, you will not be able to be a Member, and will not be able to use the Dog Park.

• You must make a minimum donation of $50 per voting membership.
• You must read and follow the FOOHP Dog Park Rules, which are also posted on the bulletin board at the Dog Park.
• All new Members must attend a new member orientation session before being allowed to use the Dog Park (renewing Members who previously attended an orientation need not attend again).
• In order to use the Dog Park, all Members must have a current FOOHP tag on their dog(s)’ collars.
• You must agree to the attached waiver of liability.
• You must provide a valid email address and phone number(s) and agree to receive emails from the FOOHP Board.
• You must also agree to the release of your contact information to another member if you are or your dog is involved in an altercation at the Dog Park.

Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification

In consideration of being granted access to the Orianna Hill Dog Park, I hereby waive, remise, release and forever discharge Dog Park and FOOHP and the respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, associates, principals, directors, officers, members, employees, attorneys, and agents of each of the Dog Park and FOOHP, and the successors and assigns of each of them, from any and all liabilities, actions, suits, debts, judgments, claims and demands whatsoever in law and in equity arising out of or connected to any entry on or to, or presence on, or use of, said Real Property, including but not limited to, any and all liabilities, actions, suits, debts, judgments, claims and demands related to injury to my person, my personal property or any animals owned by me or under my control, or anyone as a result of my action or inaction, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, which I ever had, now have, or may have at any time in the future.

In addition, I agree to indemnify and defend Dog Park and FOOHP and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, associates, principals, directors, officers, members, employees, attorneys and agents of each of the Dog Park and FOOHP, and the successors and assigns of each from any and all liabilities, actions, suits, debts, judgments, claims and demands whatsoever in law and in equity arising out of or connected to my entry on, to or presence on, or use of, said Real Property, or the entry on, to, or presence of anyone else thereon as a result of my action or inaction, including but not limited to, any and all liabilities, actions, suits, debts, judgments, claims, demands, attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses that any of the foregoing may sustain in any way related to, arising out of or in any way connected to my entry on, to or presence on, or use of, said Real Property.
