Beef and Beer 4/21/07 - Mark your Calendars!

Join the Friends of Orianna Hill Park for its second annual Beef & Beer benefit fundraiser on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 8-12pm at The Ukranian Club @ 847 N. Franklin Street here in the neighborhood. Tickets cost only $20, and all proceeds will go to support the park. We’ve lined up great entertainment, including a live performance by the Northern Liberties Dance Band, as well as tunes by D.J. Captain Mike. Like last year, your $20 gets you a buffet (served at 8:30pm) featuring bottomless beef and vegetarian vittles, bottomless beer donated by YARDS, as well as a silent auction after the Band’s 9pm set. Members and non-members alike are welcome!

For Tickets: (1) download and send in the order form [PDF], (2) buy tickets at the park, Sat. 4/14/2007 (10-12pm) and Sun. 4/15 (12-2), (3) call 215-370-9903 or email , (4) ask any Park Board Member, or (5) finally, buy tickets at the door!

Park Cleanup Day 3/24/07

Help celebrate the beginning of spring and make our first cleanup in 2007 as successful as our last, where upwards of 30 people showed up (On an average workday, we have traditionally drawn about 5)! It will be on Saturday, March 24, from 10am-1pm. We'll be spreading woodchips, trimming trees and overgrowth, and generally sprucing up the place after the long winter. We'll provide the tools, but please bring gloves if you have them. So, leave the pups at home, join us, and get dirty with your friends!!! Starbucks coffee, water and other breakfast treats will be provided. Contact if you have questions.

  • Dog owners are liable for any injuries caused by their dogs to other dogs or to people.
  • The dog park carries general liability insurance which specifically excludes dog bites.
